Combine your interest in French language with your passion for French cuisine, during a Cook Travel in France!
In the mornings you attend the Intensive French group language course and in the afternoons, our cookery classes.

Build on your existing knowledge of French to improve and extend your conversational skills. Our professional, native French-speaking tutors teach you formal and informal French, with an emphasis on conversational skills. Our group classes have a maximum of 6 per class and to be considered for this course you need 8 or more points on our French Test. In addition to our online test, all our students have a one-to-one oral test on the first day, before any classes start. This allows our teachers to assess each student before placing them in an appropriate group.

The cooking course takes place in a relaxed and warm atmosphere on site at Villa Beaulieu. It is aimed at those who love presentation or those extra details that give your dishes that special something. Our chef’s imagination has led him to invent some delicious, but easy to follow, dishes that will enchant your palate, awaken your tastebuds and delight your friends at your next dinner party!

France is an essential stop for all those who want to make a culinary journey, discover other dishes and flavours. The culinary richness of France is known all over the world and each region of the country has it’s own specialities, it’s own local products and it’s sources of inspiration, to make a varied and gourmet cuisine. Thanks to the different means of transport and because of the size of the territory, it is easy to move around France to visit its different regions.

Our school is located between Lyon, which is considered the French culinary capital, and Burgundy, which is a region very famous for its vineyards and wines. It is therefore in an ideal location for those who wish to visit and discover several important places and quality local products of french gastronomy, such as Lyon, Dijon and Beaune. By train or car, you will only be a few hours away from these cities from the school, if you want to visit them when you have finished your course with us.

We have several culinary specialties in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region that you can discover during a cooking tour in France to treat yourself to. It is a region where agriculture, crafts and local products are very important. In particular, there are different varieties of meat, including the famous Charolais meat. There are also several local cheeses and wines that will accompany the meals you will enjoy at school. The French and cooking classes we propose at our school are the perfect combination for those who want to learn and practice the French language while learning and discovering the cuisine of our country. French classes are provided by our teachers and cooking classes are led by our in-house chef. You will always be surrounded by professionals, who will help you develop your knowledge of French, to discover and deepen the vocabulary of cuisine and the associated social and cultural expressions and rituals.
