The Charolais Festival, recognized at a national level, takes place this weekend for its 9th annual exposition. The event spotlights the agricultural world through numerous tastings, competitions, presentations and discoveries.
This celebration brings together participants from the beef industry and the general public in order to present ways of better recognizing and understanding the role of the farmer, to secure and strengthen the links between different industry participants from producer to consumer, and to promote quality bovine meats, by way of the Charolais breed.
3 days of gourmet discoveries in the Roannais
After a first contact with the Ecole des Trois Ponts in 2011, I decided to return in order to discover a little more about this little piece of terroir called the Roannais, nestled between the Charolais, the Auvergne volcanoes and the Lyonnaise region. Passionate about French gastronomy, the authenticity of the terroir was especially striking to me. The Roannais is blessed with a varied and dynamic gastronomic heritage. There I discovered numerous products of quality, reflecting the savoir-faire and generosity of its inhabitants.

(19 or 25 hours a week).

According to a report by the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) « French Language in the World, 2014 », French is spoken by 274 million practitioners, making it the fifth most spoken language in the world. For 212 million people, French is spoken daily (the language spoken in the home, at school, in the public sector and in the media). The remaining 63 million people are considered to use French as a « foreign language ».
Make no mistake about it, hiking in France is experiencing growing popularity with many enthusiasts. In addition to the pleasures of discovering the bounty of the region, walking remains an excellent activity for maintaining good health.
