Take a taxi OR

By Train
Take the Roissy bus RATP No. 351 (Roissy to Paris from 6am to 11pm) from the Airport to Place de l'Opéra (rue Scribe, Paris 8ème). Departure every 15 minutes from aérogare 2, T9 or 1. Price for the ticket is about €6.10. Trip takes 45 to 60 minutes.

By Bus
Take the Air France shuttle bus from the airport to Place de l'Etoile (avenue Carnot). Leaves from Terminal 1 porte 34/Terminal 2 hall C porte 2, hall B porte 2, hall F porte 007 every 15 minutes. Price for the ticket is about €9.91. Trip takes 30 minutes.

By Roissy Rail Bus
Take the "Roissy Rail" bus to Roissy Station and then take RER B to Paris. Different stops available: Gare du Nord, Châtelet les Halles, St. Michel or Denfert Rochereau.

Bus-train combination
The cheapest way but cumbersome with heavy baggage. From Aéroport Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (Paris international airport) take free airport shuttle bus that leaves from Aérogare 1 arrival level 28, Aérogare 2A gate 5, Aérogare 2B gate 6 or Aérogare 2D gate 6. At Roissy train station, take the RER B3 train line to central Paris then take Metro to Paris-Gare de Lyon station. Price is about €6.86 (metro included). Leaves every 15 minutes from 5am to 12am midnight trip takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

From Lyon Airport by Taxi
Take a pre-booked taxi from the airport to the villa - we can organise a direct taxi pick-up from the airport or from Lyon city to the villa. Please contact us for the taxi reservation in advance. The cost of the taxi is about €180. Trip takes about 1.5 hours.

From Lyon Airport by Car
You can rent an automatic car with Avis at the airport, but we recommend that if you can drive a manual then it's easier to pick that car up in Roanne. 120km from airport to Villa Beaulieu in Riorges. To get from Lyon St. Exupéry Airport to Roanne by car: follow signs for Lyon on A43, then follow blue signs for Lyon on A43 Take "péripherique sud - téo" following signs for St. Etienne-Marseille. Continue to follow the green signs for St. Etienne-Marseille. Then follow the yellow signs for Paris-Gerland. Then follow A6 Paris-Roanne. Stick to right lane as you go under the overpass as you will veer right and keep following signs for Paris-Roanne. Follow green signs for Roanne on N7. From Lyon City follow A6 direction Villefranche/Paris/Roanne then N7 to Roanne. Takes 1 hour 15 minutes. See also Michelin for more details.

From Lyon Airport by Tram & Train
Take the Tram Express at St. Exupéry airport direct to Lyon Part-Dieu train station. Every 15 minutes from 5am to midnight. Price €13 for a single ticket and €23 for a return ticket. For more information see www.rhonexpress.fr

Detailed directions follow below and we suggest you review the map of Riorges/Roanne and print sections that are applicable to your journey.

Coming from the North by the N7: Lapalisse, Mably

Follow the N7 to Roanne. You will drive through Moulins, Lapalisse, St. Forgeux Lespinasse, St. Germain Lespinasse. As you enter Roanne, on your right you will see the Netto, the Toyota garage and the Conforma store. You will arrive at a large roundabout – take ROANNE RIORGES on the right, then immediately after, you will arrive at another roundabout. At this roundabout, take the direction AEROPORT which comes up quickly on the right. The road rises slightly and you will cross a bridge which passes over the railroad tracks (You will be on rue Edouard Branley). On the right there is a Provibat. At the roundabout, you will go straight ahead in the direction of RIORGES CENTRE. You will pass ARTP, then you will follow the road which turns left (Rue Louise Michel).

At the next roundabout, there is a factory called Prodia on the right. Follow RIORGES CENTRE straight ahead (Rue Louise Michel). At the next roundabout, continue straight ahead. Continue to follow Rue Louise Michel. You will encounter another small roundabout, and continue straight ahead. 100 meters after the small roundabout, there is a larger roundabout. At this larger roundabout take the first exit to the right, direction CLERMONT, AEROPORT, RIORGES CENTRE. You will now be on Blvd. Ouest. The first exit street to the right is RIORGES CENTRE. Pass by this exit and take the second exit RENAISON-AEROPORT D9. Exit the roadway and immediately, take the first right. You will be on Rue Marechal Foch (D9). Stay in the right lane and go straight, passing Rue Pasteur. The Villa Beaulieu is about 100 meters after the intersection. It is located on the left at 645 rue Marechal Foch. It is best to put on your turn signal and pay close attention to navigating the entrance because the path is narrow. The school is at the end of the path. It is less than 10 minutes between the initial sign entering the city of Roanne and the school.

Coming from the North from: Marcigny, Iguerande, Vougy by the D482
You will pass the town of Vougy. When you arrive in Roanne, you will see the Mercedes garage on the right. Cross the bridge over the Loire. You will see a sign entering ROANNE – you will be on the D482 (Rue de Charlieu). At the first roundabout, go straight ahead following D482. The Michelin factory will be on your left. Turn right just before the light, following VICHY, MOULIN PARIS (Avenue de la Marne). Continue straight following Avenue de la Marne for about 1 kilometer. (You will pass Impasse de la Marne and Blvd. de Nancy). Take the curve to the right following the signs for PARIS RIORGES (Avenue du Polygon). You will arrive at a roundabout. Take the third exit to the right (Blvd. du Marechal Joffre which will become Blvd. Ouest D43). Following will be 2 more series of lights. You are going to continue straight at the lights following RIORGES. (You will have passed the N7).

You will now be on the Blvd. Ouest D43. When you arrive at the 1st roundabout, continue straight in the direction of RIORGES. You will arrive at a large intersection with lights. This will be the intersection of Blvd. Ouest and D207 - the Nissan garage will be on your right. Continue straight on Blvd. Ouest in the direction AEROPORT. After about 2 kilometers on the roadway, you will see at a distance the cafeteria Casino. At the next roundabout, take the second exit on the right - direction RIORGES AEROPORT, continuing to follow Blvd. Ouest D43.

There will be another roundabout with some footballer statues (soccer players), take the second exit on the right, continuing to follow Blvd. Ouest. The first exit street to the right is RIORGES CENTRE. Pass by this exit and take the second exit RENAISON-AEROPORT D9. Exit the roadway and immediately, take the first right. You will be on Rue Marechal Foch (D9).

Stay in the right lane and go straight, passing Rue Pasteur. The Villa Beaulieu is about 100 meters after the intersection. It is located on the left at 645 rue Marechal Foch. It is best to put on your turn signal and pay close attention to navigating the entrance because the path is narrow. The school is at the end of the path.

Coming from Lyon St. Etienne by the N7
Coming from Lyon, take the N7 following signs for PARIS/ROANNE. You will drive through L’Abresle, Tarare, St. Symphorien de Lay, Neaux. After Neaux, keep on following the N7 up to a big intersection. There, once again, follow signs for PARIS/ROANNE N7. The N7 becomes a 4 lane road. Drive straight ahead.

You will exit at #65 AEROPORT ARSENAL RIORGES. Just after exiting the rocade (ringroad), turn left at the traffic lights and follow AEROPORT RIORGES.

You will be on the Blvd. Ouest (briefly named Blvd. du Marechal Joffre) D43. When you arrive at the 1st roundabout, continue straight in the direction of RIORGES. You will arrive at a large intersection with lights. This will be the intersection of Blvd. Ouest and D207 - the Nissan garage will be on your right. Continue straight on Blvd. Ouest in the direction AEROPORT. After about 2 kilometers on the roadway, you will see at a distance the cafeteria Casino. At the roundabout, take the second exit on the right - direction RIORGES AEROPORT, continuing to follow Blvd. Ouest D43.

There will be another roundabout with some statues of footballers/soccer players, take the second exit on the right, continuing to follow Blvd. Ouest. The first exit street to the right is RIORGES CENTRE. Pass by this exit and take the second exit RENAISON-AEROPORT D9. Exit the roadway and immediately, take the first right. You will be on Rue Marechal Foch (D9).

It is less than 10 minutes between the initial sign entering the city of Roanne and the school.

Coming from Clermont Ferrand by the D53
D53 in this stretch of road is named Route de Villemontais. You will pass near the town of Villerest. When you arrive at a roundabout, follow ROANNE MOULIN AEROPORT, the SCARABE’ which is the second exit to the right (You will no longer be on Route de Villemontais D53). Map4 After about 1.5 kilometers on the roadway, there will be another roundabout. Take the third exit to the right – direction RENAISON –AEROPORT – the street name is Blvd. Ouest. After about 500 meters, take the exit ramp at the right. You will come to a roundabout, take the third exit to the right in the direction RENAISON-AEROPORT. You will be on Rue Marechal Foch (D9).

Stay in the right lane and go straight, passing Rue Pasteur.

The Villa Beaulieu is about 100 meters after the intersection on the left at 645 rue Marechal Foch. It is best to put on your turn signal and pay close attention to navigating the entrance because the path is narrow. The school is at the end of the path.

It is less than 10 minutes between the initial sign entering the city of Roanne and the school.

Coming from the D9:
Renaison, St. Léger sur Roanne Pass St. Léger sur Roanne and at the first roundabout, follow RIORGES ROANNE (D9). You will pass the sign for Riorges. The D9 is named Rue de Marechal Foch shortly after the roundabout. At the first light, go straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see Champion on the left. At the light, go straight ahead. There will be a veterinary clinic on the right, and the street Impasse Deville on the right. Pass by the street Impasse Deville. Immediately after, put on your right turn signal and make the large right turn into the school at 645 rue Marechal Foch. If you miss the entrance, you can turn around at the next roundabout 150 meters further down the road. It is easier to enter into the property coming from this direction.
